Many are the development cooperation projects using crafts and tailoring as strategy to empower women by providing them with specific training and employment opportunities. In Bangladesh, UNHCR launched a project to support Rohingya women based in Nayapara refugee camp. The project plans to train nearly 1,200 young women this year.
